Made in Yorkshire Festive Fayre at Sheffield Cathedral - St Peter& St Paul - until 23rd December

For two weeks only the Cathedral will be hosting its first Christmas fayre brought to you by Made in Yorkshire. This is the first time Made in Yorkshire Festive Fayre is to be held in Sheffield, part of the city’s programme of yuletide celebrations. Alongside an exciting range of Christmas traders, festive illuminations and carol concerts, there are plenty of reasons to get out and about in Sheffield in the run up to Christmas.
The 2012 series of Made in Yorkshire Festivals celebrate the best of art and design produced exclusively within the Yorkshire area, celebrating both traditional and contemporary craft skills.

Made in Yorkshire has been bringing together like minded designer artists for over 10 years and is keen to show Sheffield what great talent our county has to offer. There will be a great variety of exhibitors so if you have a love of ceramics, a passion for arts or an appreciation of fine furniture, why not come and visit us and see the displays and demonstrations by design makers from around the region.

The Festive Fayre takes place on the Cathedral forecourt from Friday 7th December through to Sunday 23rd December 2012.

Homemade mulled wine, mine pies and other food goodies will also be served in the Made in Yorkshire Cafe, within the marquee.
The fair runs from 10am to 5pm and on Sundays 11am until 4pm. www.sheffieldcathedral.org

  1. Christmas is a very magically time of the year. The glow of the warmth of the outside of a home shows this magic as you go by each illuminate wondrous home. The magic is seen with the bright colors of lights on shrubs and trees and house eves. Even the clear lights have an effect of their own.
